CORK PONG

Cork Pong is similar to beer pong, but it’s played with corks!

HOW TO PLAY CORK PONG
GAME SETUP: Divide into 2 teams (1-2 players per team) and choose a cork color for your team. Each team will get 2 corks. Next, place the cups on the board according to the pattern shown above. Teams will stand approximately 5 steps back (one person measures using the heel-to-toe technique) from the Corkaine gameboard on opposite ends and place down their spot markers to mark their shooting distance. The gameplay begins after one quick round of paper-rock-scissors to determine which team goes first.
GAMEPLAY: Teams take turns shooting their 2 corks at their opponent’s pyramid (pyramid furthest from you). Teams must shoot both of their corks (1 cork per play for teams of 2) before the turn moves on to their opponent. If a team makes both of their corks into 2 separate cups of their opponent’s pyramid during their turn, then that team gets to shoot both of their corks again. The object of this game is to eliminate all of the cups of your opponent’s pyramid (pyramid furthest from you) before your opponent eliminates all of the cups in your pyramid (pyramid closest to you). The first team to eliminate all of the cups in their opponent’s pyramid wins Cork Pong!
HOW TWO ROUNDS (ONE BY EACH TEAM) OF CORK PONG ARE PLAYED
Team Orange goes first and eliminates 1 cup with their 2 corks. Team Yellow goes next and eliminates 2 cups with their 2 corks. Team Yellow goes again because they eliminated 2 different cups on their opponent’s pyramid.
