Corkaine - Get Addicted To A Better Game - Logo

Bork

The objective of this game is to eliminate your opponents 5 BLACK cups (the 5 cups furthest from you) before your opponent eliminates your 5 BLACK cups (the 5 cups closest to you). However, the team that wins the GOLD cup gets an extra bonus cork “BORK” to shoot with for the next round and for the rest of the game. Each team must shoot all of of their corks (1 cork per player for teams of 2) before the turn moves on to their opponent. The first team to eliminate all 5 of their opponent’s black cups first wins the game.

HOW TO PLAY BORK

GAME SETUP: Divide into 2 teams (1-2 players per team) and choose a cork color for your team. Each team will get 2 corks. Next, place the cups on the board according to the pattern shown above. Teams will stand approximately 6 steps back (one person measures using the heel to toe technique) from the Corkaine gameboard on opposite ends and place down their spot markers to mark their shooting distance. Gameplay begins after one quick round of paper-rock-scissors to determine which team goes first.

GAMEPLAY: Teams shoot their corks one at a time at the cups on the gameboard. Once all corks have been shot by the first team up, their round ends and the turn is then shifted to the next team up. The team with the most corks in any one cup at the end of a round wins that cup and then follows the rules of that cup (see cup rules in the top right corner). When ruling the winning cups, the BLACK cups are ALWAYS ruled first and then followed by the GOLD cup. Once all of the winning cups are accounted for, all corks are gathered up and a new round begins. Rounds of gameplay continue until one of the teams eliminates all 5 of their opponents BLACK cups at which point the game ends and the winner is declared.
