Capture The Flag

In this game, you are trying to capture your opponent's flag before they capture yours. To capture their flag, you need to first win your opponent’s SYMBOL cup (YELLOW or ORANGE cup) first and foremost. No other cups can be won until this SYMBOL cup is won. Once this cup is won, you can then work on winning any of the BLACK cups of your opponent’s flag. The first team to capture all of the cups of their opponent’s flag (the flag furthest from you) wins the game.

EXAMPLE: THE FIRST ROUND OF CAPTURE THE FLAG

Both teams try to win the other team's symbol cup first. Once the opposing team's symbol cup is won off of the board, the remaining black flag cups of the opposing team's flag are eligible to be won.

Classic Corkaine - How To Play

GAME SETUP: Divide into 2 teams (1-2 players per team) and choose a cork color for your team. Each team will get 10 corks. Next, place the cups on the board according to the pattern shown above. Teams will stand approximately 6 steps back (one person measures using the heel to toe technique) from the Corkaine gameboard on opposite ends and place down their spot markers to mark their shooting distance. Gameplay begins after one quick round of paper-rock-scissors to determine which team goes first.

GAMEPLAY: The object of this game is to win your opponent’s SYMBOL cup (YELLOW or ORANGE cup) first and foremost. Once this cup is won, you can then work on winning any of the BLACK cups of your opponent’s flag. The first team to capture all of the cups of their opponent’s flag (the flag furthest from you) wins the game.
TIE-BREAKER RULES: If the game ends in a tie, a sudden death round is used as the tie breaker. In a sudden death round, all cups are removed from the gameboard and one black cup is placed in the middle of the board. The first team to win that single black cup (determined at the end of the sudden death round and after all corks have been shot by both teams) wins the tie-breaker and the game!
